Burrawang Village Hotel

Modern Australian$$

Here's a pub, with an expansive beer garden overlooking Babe country, that welcomes you and won't let you go. The menu pays tribute to the region's winegrowers and farmers: in the tumble of perfectly roasted vegetables, dotted with fetta piled on a home-made pastry shell; and in the moreish crinkle cut sweet potato wedges which appear when locally grown Robertson potatoes aren't in season. Come dinner the kitchen ramps up a notch: salmon fillets are chargrilled perfectly, and the roast of the day never fails. Desserts are baked in house or locally. Beware the lemon tart. Addictive.
