The best fruit from the oldest contour-planted vines on the vineyard are reserved for this bottling, which is then aged for five years before release. It's an outstanding semi-mature riesling with a developed, full-yellow colour and a superbly mellow bouquet of honey and buttered toast, lime marmalade and beeswax. It's full in the mouth, rich and dry, balanced and generously flavoured. The persistence is impressive and the flavour irresistible. An outstanding and impressive wine.
