Viognier can be lush, even thick and fat, but this Canberra version is in a delicate, less-is-more vein. It is pale and fragrant, with melon, stone fruit, spice and floral aromas, a fine texture, both fruity and savoury flavours, and a very dry finish. Delicious. (Screw cap; 12.5 per cent alcohol.)
