Myffy Rigby and Callan Boys

Not just a place to get a drink, these venues serve restaurant-quality, booze-friendly food in a bar setting.

And the finalists are…

Automata

Caveat lector: the seven-item bar menu changes almost as often the headline menu, but burrata injected with shellfish oil is more of a mainstay. Pierce the creamy white mozzarella and step back as shiny orange goodness puddles the plate to be daubed with bread. Oils ain't oils unless they've seen a prawn head.

Bar Brosé

Picture this, toasted sandwich lovers: pineapple glazed leg ham, 'nduja and gruyere all squashed together between two pieces of bread then toasted to a deep golden. It's just one of the amazing snacks on offer here. Add something from a drinks list that celebrates funk, texture and minerality as much it does tins of Korean beer and tequila.
