QUEUES AT Flinders Lane's Cumulus Inc can now stretch upstairs with the opening of the long-awaited upstairs bar, aptly titled Cumulus Up.

Opened last Wednesday, Up was designed by co-owner Pascale Gomes-McNabb, and is described by co-owner and chef Andrew McConnell as a "luxe-European" wine bar with food.

"We have a great wine team, wine culture and wine cellar at Cumulus Inc," says McConnell, who co-owns the business with Gomes-McNabb and front-of-house manager, Jayden Ong, "and have wanted to open a wine bar in the city".

Cumulus Up will work as a spillover for those waiting for seats in Cumulus Inc, but also have its own identity as "a relaxed space, a wine bar and/or eatery", McConnell says.
