Like chicken? Love Breaking Bad? Yes? Excellent. We have news relevant to your interests.

Los Pollos Hermanos, Breaking Bad's chicken shop and crystal-methamphetamine distribution front, is taking over Thirsty Bird in Potts Point on Tuesday, April 11.

It's the real deal too (or as real as a fictitious fried-chicken franchise can get) with Los Pollos owner Gustavo "Gus" Fring (actor Giancarlo Esposito) appearing in person to open the store.

The Potts Point Los Pollos outlet will operate over two days, celebrating the new season of Better Call Saul.

The third season of the Breaking Bad prequel series will premiere April 11 on Stan, Australia's local on-demand-video network. It's understood this season will focus on the early days of Fring's massive drug empire - a time before Walter White showed up and ruined everything.

Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul fans will have a chance to meet and greet Fring/Esposito by registering their interest on the Los Pollos pop-up Facebook event page. Punters are also invited to dress in their best Better Caul Saul costume to win limited edition merchandise. (Whoever rocks up as nursing-home-wheelchair-explosion-melted-face-Terminator Gus is surely in with half a chance.)

There's no word on the exact menu details for the pop-up, however we're 99 per cent sure fried chicken will be a part of it. And curly fries too, if this "commercial" from the Better Call Saul Instagram account is anything to go by.

Honestly though, you could fill those Los Pollos cups with Diet Mountain Dew and we would still line up to get our hands on one.
