Christine Manfield takes over eightysix restaurant in Canberra with Latin food

Natasha Rudra

Christine Manfield is back for what's becoming an annual ritual in Canberra. She will take over hatted Braddon restaurant eightysix in early December with a festival of Latin American food and salsa beats. The former restaurateur, travel writer and food judge will be the resident chef at eightysix from November 29th, to December 3rd. Owner Gus Armstrong has given her full control over the menu, making this a rare chance to sample the vibrant cooking and high impact dishes that made her one of Sydney's most respected chefs at her old restaurant Universal. Go to eightysix.com.au or call 02 6161 8686 to book.
