Cronulla dining on a roll

Fresh from landing 15/20 this month in Terry Durack's review of Giro Osteria, Cronulla's food star continues to rise.

City operators are eyeing expansion in the southern suburb, and a number of venues are opening there.

Sydney' ubiquitous designer-restaurant stylist, Sibella Court, has fashioned the interiors at Old Joe's, which swings open alongside stalwart Northies at the end of the Kingsway next weekend.

The Old Joe's name is a nod to Cronulla stalwart Joe's Milk Bar, which closed in the mid-1990s.
