Ehren Ryan, the much-touted chef who departed Cottage Point Inn late last year, has just bobbed up as chef at Conrad Piggins restaurant at Elanora Heights.
It's a coup for the suburban restaurant, and Ryan has also managed to bring some of the old Cottage Point kitchen crew to Conrad Piggins Bar & Grill.
"The style is Three Blue Ducks meets Northern Beaches, as we are not fine dining but want to be interesting and at a good price," the chef tells Good Food.
Elanora Heights isn't exactly demanding its own map at the back of The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide, so it is a positive move for the area.
