A 110-seat Peruvian-Japanese restaurant and a more casual beer and bao joint will join the party at Barangaroo, opening in September and May respectively. Restaurateur Michael Jiang confirmed he has signed on to open an additional two eateries after being buoyed by early trade at Lotus Barangaroo, which opened late last year.

"Fujisaki will be Peruvian-Japanese, with Rose Ang (ex-Nobu) its executive chef. Bing's Bao & Beer will be more casual. A Hong Kong or Taiwanese style diner with craft beer," Jiang says.

Barangaroo is proving to be a food Tardis. "Not counting cafes, there are already 20 something restaurants, by the end it'll be around 30," he says.
