Everything you've ever heard about the late-night fried chicken parties at Belles is true. The ultra-popular Belles Hot Chicken pop-up is now permanent at Barangaroo, complete with a liquor licence. Join Morgan "Put it on a biscuit" McGlone for a feast of five family-style fried chicken dishes, including Chonqing chicken wings inspired by Roscoe's and even a Chick-Fil-A American-style biscuit stuffed with fried chicken. This year's premium society event is presented amid a sea of fashion and entertainment as we take out inspiration from classic 1920s garden parties and bring a sample of Hamptons luxury to the lawns of Centennial Park. (Dress code optional, but why fight it?). A unique picnic catered by the best in the game – renowned chef and restaurateur Matt Moran hosts a Chiswick pop-up, the boys behind Three Blue Ducks (Darren Robertson and Mark LeBrooy) are bringing a hand-made barbecue that literally weighs half a tonne.
