Duck, there's a new burger in town. Chippendale's just open Holy Duck! might be a little late to Sydney's burger plague, but its owner is so confident he's already negotiating on a second site – at Sydney airport's international terminal.

Kaisern Ching has an enviable track record predicting Sydney food tastes, having helped usher in Din Tai Fung before opening the Chefs Gallery restaurants.

"Duck is our best seller at Chefs Gallery, so we've added an orange infused hoisin and put it on a brioche bun (at Holy Duck!)," the restaurateur tells Good Food.

The fast-casual Kensington Street venue, a collaboration with developer Dr Stanley Quek, doesn't trade in duck alone.

Popcorn chicken with brown sugar glaze and pork belly with mustard sauce also on the menu. "It's like a Hong Kong style diner," Ching says.
