This year has dished up the cafe in a hair salon at Cleveland's in Redfern, but a new cafe in a record store is just the thing to get music buffs pumped for Christmas.

Suzie Q at 1/18 Hutchinson Street, Surry Hills, is owned by DJ Jordan Deck. It has a giant Elliott Landy photograph of Woodstock on the wall, a menu ripe with song references (Spanish Caravan: poached egg and avocado) and Dukes coffee. Rock'n'rollers might prefer to tuck into a beer or a riesling from the Clare Valley.
