North Melbourne pub sold

Hilary McNevin

The Courthouse in North Melbourne has been sold. The owner of the Errol Street pub, Scott Thomas, confirmed the sale, saying it was time to "focus on just one business" — he also owns the Montague in South Melbourne — "and take time to spend with my family". The Courthouse's Twitter account announced the present management's last service as September 21, but Thomas was less forthcoming about this, and the new owners, when Espresso called.
