Ryan Flaherty's Mr Jennings opening soon

Ryan Flaherty has been quiet since leaving the Estelle in Northcote last November, but don't expect that to last. His first solo venture, Mr Jennings, will open at 142 Bridge Road, Richmond, next month.

Flaherty has cooked in internationally recognised kitchens including elBulli and the Fat Duck but for his own place he's promising accessible, share-friendly food that's "hot, seasoned and well-cooked".

Flaherty has enlisted Malcolm Singh, from CBD restaurant Pei Modern, as restaurant manager, and sommelier Lincoln Riley to create the wine list. Mr Jennings will seat 36, with a private dining room for 16.
