Truck in, tuck in at Trailer Park

Just as you got the hang of following your favourite food truck around various spots in the city, along comes Trailer Park.

The concept, hatched by Jess Pryles of Saucesome Media (and the blog BurgerMary), will bring four savoury food trucks and one dessert truck together each Saturday, noon to 8pm, for a month.

"I live in Prahran," Pryles says, "and didn't always want to have to drive everywhere from one favourite food truck to another, so I thought, why not bring them together."

Starting this Saturday, the trucks for August will include Beatbox Kitchen, Cornutopia, Gumbo Kitchen, the Curry Truck and the debut of the Brulee Cart.

The wagons will circle in the courtyard at Village Melbourne, formerly the Belgian Beer Cafe Bluestone, 557 St Kilda Road, with a bar and seating for up to 400 people. Trailer Park will be at the same location for the month of September.
