Where there's smoke there's, well, a new Sydney venue. The smoker features heavily with two of the city's latest arrivals.

A Yoder smoker is at the heart of the kitchen at Endeavour Tap Rooms (39-43 Argyle Street, The Rocks), a collaboration from the Endeavour Vintage Beer Co and the seasoned crew behind venues including Della Hyde and Bondi Hardware.

If Endeavour's Welsh + Major interior doesn't get you, the toulouse sausage, barramundi and beef brisket from the smoker might.

And Barangaroo's latest venue is upfront about its intentions: NOLA Smokehouse and Bar (Tower 1, 200 Barangaroo Avenue) has a strong focus on sweet meats, whiskey and specialist New Orleans cocktails.
