Five-course degustation and pantomime act

Help stop food going to waste

SecondBite is feeding hungry Australians this winter with leftover food. Sydney pizza festival

Enjoy the best pizza Sydney has to offer. Thirteen pizzerias across Sydney will be serving up their own style of regional Napoletana, Romana and Italiana wood-fired pizzas. All participating restaurants are offering a $20 promotion, which gets you an artisan pizza and a beer, glass of wine or soft drink.

Christmas in July at Harrington Grove

Be welcomed by a warm fire and a mulled champagne cocktail before feasting on a seven-course degustation. The menu will include canapés, fresh seafood bisque, spicy pumpkin, haloumi and organic quinoa salad, crispy duck ravioli, slow roasted lamb shoulder, flaming plum pudding with brandy butter, coffee, tea and petit fours.

FEVOO (pronounced feevoo), or fresh extra virgin olive oil, is Australia’s first olive oil festival. The festival will showcase and educate consumers about Aussie olive oil. The programme includes an olive oil masterclass, an expert panel led by Stephanie Alexander discussing the beauty and benefits of oil, plus a grower’s forum that will put to rest why Australian olive oils are the best and freshest in the world.

Bastille Day celebration at the Argyle

The Argyle aims to gather the whole French community as well as all Sydney’s Francophiles to celebrate France’s national day. Guests will receive a free drink on arrival; there will be chartreuse liqueur tasting, a “crêpes” stall, a cancan show from Carrousel Entertainment, French DJs and more.
