Quick chicken curry stir-fry.
Quick curried chicken stir-fry.

This week it's all about comfort foods, think roast pork with crackling, crunchy crumble tart and tasty meatballs.

Make up a batch of quinoa, chicken and corn soup - be sure to add some ginger if you feel a cold coming on.

Midweek, throw together a rustic tray-bake of chunky ratatouille and sausages. And if you can't decide between a curry or a stir-fry, try Thursday's hybrid curried chicken stir-fry.

On Friday, crank up the barbie (weather permitting) and grill some lamb cutlets. Serve with a simple salsa and a side of golden, fluffy polenta chips.

Over the weekend it's a pork feast - save leftover meat for a hipster Asian-inspired pork bun for lunch.
