Sweetcorn is a summer barbecue standby, grilled and gnawed straight from the cob, or sliced off to add to salads or salsas.
Limes are the first of the citrus family to ripen after spring flowering. There are plenty around now so prices are good.

Hunt up a zucchini harvest every day so that fruit doesn't grow big and watery. Pick at pen-length.
