Crostini

When he entertains at home, Maiale serves pasta, such as spaghetti and mussels. But home is about more than just pasta. Guests are also served three types of crostini and pandoro cake with fresh cherries and mascarpone.

Ingredients

  • 24 slices of baguette.
  • Vegetable oil, for shallow frying

Method

Allow 8 slices for each of the three toppings (see below). Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and fry bread until golden on both sides. Drain on paper.
