Next time you find yourself over-thinking to the point of paralysis, choose this tea to put fire in your belly.

Ingredients

  • 1 stalk of lemongrass, cut into 3cm pieces

  • 3cm of ginger, sliced finely

  • 6 cups water

  • 2 tbsp honey (optional)

Method

  1. Place the lemongrass and ginger in a pot with the water. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Strain and serve with honey if too pungent.

    Another option is to add a clove of garlic to ward off colds and flu, and gargle.

    Makes 5 cups
