Ingredients

1 cup self-raising flour, sifted

Pinch salt

3/4 cup caster sugar

1/2 cup milk

60g butter, melted

100g dark chocolate buttons, melted

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp cocoa

1 cup strong black coffee

Method

Preheat oven to 170C.

Mix together flour, salt and caster sugar in a bowl. Stir through milk, butter and chocolate. Spoon into a 1.5-litre pudding dish. Sprinkle over brown sugar and cocoa, and pour over coffee.

Bake in the oven for about 50 minutes or until pudding has risen and is crusty on the top.

Serve with vanilla ice-cream, cream or custard.

This pudding is very easy to make and absolutely delicious. The only change I made was that I added 1 1/2 cups of coffee for the sauce as I found that 1 cup didn't make enough. Contrary to the three star rating (something went wrong) I would most definitely give this recipe five stars!
