The much-anticipated cherry season has kicked off for orchardists Smiths of Taminick, with nectarines, peaches and apricots soon to follow.
Last chance
Weyhill Farm have begun curing garlic, but for a few more weeks you can still buy bunches of their fresh spring garlic. Use the whole plant, from stem to bulb, for a sweet flavour that works well with seafood.
