These rieslings came to prominence under Richmond Grove's riesling guru John Vickery in the 1990s. Many summer nights were spent sipping them then, and wines that escaped consumption bloomed with bottle age. Smelling of citrus, apple and steel, tasting succulent, fine textured and dry, Richmond Grove's 2015 remains fantastic value. Enjoy a chilled glass with vibrant Asian-accented seafood dishes, but try to keep some. Enriched by a decade in bottle, it will be perfect with special occasion fish dishes on future summer evenings.
