The Canberra Environment Centre wants your eco-themed cocktail ideas. The centre is planning for its annual dinner in October and wants people to email in their best recipes for environmentally-themed cocktails (with a photo, if you have one). Send your entries to events@ecoaction.com.au by 5pm on Monday, August 26. The winner will get a free drink for themselves and a friend and will see their cocktail served on the night. We’d like to suggest a superfood green cocktail of kale juice, cucumber, agave nectar and organic vodka, garnished with a rim of brown rice. While you’re at it, they’re also looking for volunteers with restaurant experience to help wait tables at the dinner. Same email address applies.
