A riesling from Germany's Mosel valley the British would call ''off-dry''. Aromas of citrus fruits and spiced apple with typically steely, dissolved mineral touches, typical of Mosel riesling, lead into a light, pristine, slightly sweet palate framed in zippy acidity. (Screw cap; 10.5 per cent alcohol.)

Ageing? Drink over five years.
Food ideas Sushi rolls; Sichuan minced pork and green bean stir-fry.
