2011 Hardys Nottage Hill Shiraz
Good quaffing reds are handy at festive times. This one is a crowd-pleasing South Australian drop with attractive berry fruit, sweet spice and a hint of vanilla on the nose, a smooth, spicy mouthful and a soft finish. Great value. (Screw cap; 13.5 per cent alcohol.)
Food ideas Barbecued meats; roast vegetable lasagne.
