2011 Willow Bridge Estate Solana Tempranillo
This is a bright, purplish young red with mint and banana aromas - youthful and a trifle raw, but inviting. It's firm and tight in the mouth with minty berry flavours, lots of fruit and tannins, which are quite firm. It needs food. Drink now to 10 years. 13 per cent alcohol. 88/100.
Food: Rare grilled steak.
