Healthy food just got a little bit more convenient - you can now get cold-pressed juice from local company The Fix at the press of a button in Civic.

The Fix Cold Pressed Juice's Lucianne Attard and Jovan Pejic have created the country's first ever cold pressed juice vending machine to help improve access to healthy food on the run.

The machine is in the Canberra Centre next to Kathmandu in the food court underneath Dendy Cinemas.

You can buy all of The Fix's seven juices from the vending machine, which are all based on seasonal vegetables and fruits, and are cold pressed and pressurised at the duo's warehouse in Fyshwick.

Pejic said the pair was particularly keen to roll out the machines when they found out less than seven per cent of Australians today eat the recommended amount of fruit and vegetables.

"The Fix Cold Press Juice is providing healthy choices in a way that compliments your life rather than complicating it," he said.

"The vending machine minimises the choices you need to make, and is easily accessible, ensuring that it is convenient to do something good for yourself while living your busy life."

The pair has plans to roll out more vending machines across Canberra soon.
