In case you missed it, the Wig and Pen opened its doors officially in its new home at the Australian National University's Llewellyn Hall.

It brings together a couple of good things – the development of a live music and food and wine precinct at the university and a new, permanent spot for the cult microbrewery to call home.

And true to form there have been plenty of very interesting beers on tap in the new pub, including a 1000 Monkeys hefeweisen, which is run through with oranges, lychees and plumcots.

The official address is at 100 William Herbert Place in Civic.
