The overarching theme of this year's Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is "earth", with a series of masterclasses, panel-style discussions, food and wine matching workshops and tastings - and that's just the Gastronomy program.
International chefs visiting for the festival include Peru's Virgilio Martinez, Magnus Nilsson from Sweden, Italy's Massimo Spigaroli, and New Zealand's Annabel Langbein.
Melbourne based chefs include Ben Shewry, Matt Wilkinson and Karen Martini.
