She's done it again. Celebrity chef Christine Manfield is heading to Canberra to cook at Braddon's eightysix for two days on December 2 and 3.

Manfield has recently published a new cookbook, A Personal Guide to India and Bhutan, which covers the delights of travelling and eating on the subcontinent.

It's her third trip to Canberra in the space of 12 months. She came to make desserts at eightysix last summer and also did a special stint cooking modern Asian food earlier this year.

This time she'll be cooking tamarind prawns, fish and dhal, and spicy dishes from around India and Bhutan. You can expect gulab jamun and chai flavours for her desserts.

Manfield closed her much lauded restaurant Universal in Sydney two years ago and has since been cooking around the world, publishing books, and doing bespoke and pop-up events.

If you'd like Manfield to cook you an Indian feast, she'll be at eightysix doing lunch on Wednesday, December 2, and then lunch and dinner on Thursday, December 3. You can also get hold of her new book while you're there.

Christine Manfield is at eightysix on December 2 and 3. Bookings 6161 8686.
