Grill’d offers free burgers at opening

Burger chain Grill’d opens in the city on November 13 offering free burgers from 11am to 3pm.

The Grill’d chain was started in Melbourne in 2004 by Simon Crowe, and now has 72 outlets around the city. The Canberra Centre shop is the fourth in Canberra. They’re decent burgers, with good meat, and the burgers we turn to for takeaways when the Brodburger queues defeat us.

The city restaurant, on the ground floor in Bunda Street, also offers craft beers and ciders for the eat-in crowd. Open seven days, grilld.com.au
