Fashions on the field, food and wine are all synonymous with one thing – The Melbourne Cup Carnival. The time has come again to throw on your best frock and fascinator, suit and tie and tune in for the "race that stops the nation".

Sydney Opera House

Sydney Opera House, catered by ARIA, will host its annual Melbourne Cup lunch in the Concert Hall's northern foyer. For $200 enjoy canapés and a glass of Taittinger Brut on arrival followed by a three-course lunch designed by Matt Moran and a beverage package of premium Australian wines and local beers. SkyTV coverage of race day at Flemington will be broadcast on screens throughout the foyer.
