Middle Fish owners Pla Liamthong and David Holtum have opened a second modern Thai cafe with Bon Faisingha and Sandra Phungmanee.
It's called Mr Nice Guy, the name Pla gave to David after they started dating, and is an extension of the offerings at Middle Fish.
"We can open for dinners and have a licence, which we don't have in Carlton," says Liamthong, describing the menu as ''fusion Thai'' with traditional flavours.
In the kitchen is chef Jiagi Tang.
Mr Nice Guy is at 10 Healeys Lane, city and is open daily until 10pm.
