Korean$$

Sizzle or grill: that’s the first decision required at this cosy, lively diner. If you answer grill: paying to cook your own food may seem foreign at first, but who doesn’t love turning their tongs to charring king prawns, and sweet and spicy pork ribs. If you answered sizzle: prime beef bulgogi or spareribs may be the ticket. K-pop on the giant screen (muted, thankfully) can be distracting but friendly staff check frequently to ensure things are cooking nicely. Round out things with fluffy rice, a zingy seaweed salad and the complimentary banchan – miniature dishes of kimchi, pickled zucchini, beanshoots and potato.
