The bright concrete space features a shiny Synesso atop a bar adorned with cute Spanish-themed tiles. RMIT staff and students - fleeing the freeform spaces and coffee carts of Building 80 - are quick to fill the low hardwood communal tables. There they enjoy Seven Seeds seasonal blends and single origins as espresso and pourovers (owner Caleb Heaney was a Seeds roaster and barista), sweet treats from Matt Forbes (who trained in London with Michel Roux and Raymond Leblanc before a stint at Vue de Monde), and pastries from Lune Croissanterie.
