Watch the trains come and go at Jewel Station across the way from an outdoor bench, or find a spot inside two cosy rooms to sip an Espresso Syndicate short black with bitter chocolate notes or a Clark Street Roasters Finca San Carlos with dark fruit and a lovely treacly bitterness. Hungry? Try the poached eggs with a salad of roasted quinoa, pickled beetroot and spinach or a lush croissant stuffed with dulce de leche, poached oranges and mascarpone.
