African Taste

The rustic fitout offers an intimate experience, and service is polite and humble. But the food is where it's at: a platter of hummus, eggplant dip and marinated olives with pita is spicy, creamy and moreish. Hearty and creamy doro tibs (tender chicken in a cumin-heavy tomato base) comes with injera to soak up every drop. Genfo fufu is a speciality: it's gnocchi made from toasted barley flour (so slightly nutty tasting) in a creamy, berbere-spiced sauce with yoghurt. It's a fruitful 'fusion' dish. Topping it all off is a selection of cooling African beers.
