It's not surprising that the roasting headquarters of one of Sydney's most reputable brands is a brilliant go-to spot for a great coffee. Watch the roasting happen in the semi-industrial space while you sip a strong, rich, velvety cuppa. Less of a given is that alongside the brew are great food options. Most breakfast and lunch items are based on the excellent Brasserie Bread, available for sale along with bags of coffee. The breakfast plate gives you toast, boiled egg, tomato and avocado, and the croissants are excellent. For lunch, try tramezzini with gruyere, ham and mustard or a vegetarian salad. Leave room for the excellent pastries and brownies and, yes, another coffee.
