A fine example of the gentrification South Sydney's industrial belt has undergone in recent years, this sleek metal-and-marble looking place is one of the area's best bets for quality cafe nosh. The coffee itself is terrific, and fans of Allpress beans can take home their own, freshly roasted on-site, along with scrumptious fresh-baked artisanal breads. Food options are limited, but worthwhile: pastries and cakes for snackers, through to huge sandwiches like the Green Goddess (eggs, jamon, basil pesto on toasted ciabatta) and breakfast plates of soft-boiled egg, avocado and ricotta. Look out for crowds at peak times.
