Anada has built-in buzz. The long, narrow shopfront, with its exposed brick wall and central copper-topped counter, has a bar-like feel, and two nightly seatings keep the place pumping from early until late. Efficient and friendly staff certainly help, as does a wine list showcasing Spanish sherries. But mostly the happy hum is being generated by folk enjoying Anada's robust, honest take on tapas and raciones. There's an appealing light and shade to the food - wonderfully rich bone marrow on toast teamed with wagyu bresaola, a brilliantly refreshing shot of green gazpacho, rabbit empanadillas with textbook short pastry, a deftly dressed salad of heirloom tomatoes, juicy char-grilled quail with freekeh and pomegranate salad - that makes eating here a ton of fun. Finish with some intriguing sweet stuff like rhubarb teamed with a cracking yoghurt sorbet and you'll be planning a return visit before you're out the door.
