Arras Too

British

Hatted restaurant Arras has reduced the hand and nose prints on their glass frontage by sprouting a cafe nook next door. Quality British fare is no longer a pipe-dream for city lunch-goers with rich Yorkshire pork pies and spicy scotch eggs going cheap. But it’s all about the bake, with super-fresh house-made cakes, brownies, muffins, and a variety of breads also used to create a range of simple but always mouth-watering sandwiches, including poached chicken, spicy pumpkin and artichoke. Seating is on the street and limited, so it’s best taken away and accompanied with decadent handmade chocolates or petit-fours.
