Behind the veneer of this regular suburban pub you'll find the unimaginatively named Ashfield Bistro. The steaks are possibly the best in this price range anywhere, cooked to perfection with a delightful smoky grill flavour. The carnage of ribs would bring a grown man to his knees, so be prepared to help out a mate. There's also a $15 Sunday roast. Service staff were delightful and happy to engage in some fun banter during our short wait. Bookings suggested for this now popular haunt.
