After an ear-popping lift ride to the 35th floor, you'd expect flounder-flat views to unfurl to your delighted gasps. But the Atrium is just that - a long, enclosed lightwell festooned with glittery fabric and a shiny baby grand. That said, it is smart and relaxing, with Nehru-jacketed staff serving club sandwiches and oysters with a well-researched list of cocktails. A Charlie Chaplin, with sloe gin, apricot brandy and lime, hits the spot, as do the flights of Aussie wines. For the aforementioned view, you'll have to throw back a few tiki cocktails and race to the loos, where you can lean on floor-to-ceiling glass like Ferris while the booze kicks in.
