There's a lot more than just coffee to perk you up under the pitched ceiling of this cavernous coffee barn. There are stonking all-day brekkies, like a chilli-bean quesadilla with fried eggs, chorizo and a cheery corn salsa; or baked eggs with goat's feta, dukkah and a spiky peperonata sauce. Seventeen-dollar sandwiches at lunch might include a roast-lamb wrap with mint, yoghurt and tabbouleh. Plus there are salads (spiced squid with chorizo and peas) and mains such as gnocchi with veal ragu. Seats are hot property on weekends when you may be offered a pop-up table in the retail space selling plungers, pots and drippers. Great coffee is a must-have.
