In Windsor’s rejuvenated heartland sits this small, shining monochromatic diner jazzed up with flashes of crimson. Floor staff are sweet; so too some dishes for some tastes. More fish sauce, lime and chilli, please? Start small: betel leaves and a pretty tumble of fresh herbs and crumbed prawns, chocks of pork belly drenched in a sweet-and-sour dressing, or rice-paper rolls stuffed with roast duck and crisp vegetables. It’s all colourful and appealing. Curries and stir-fries fill out the mains, like finely sliced beef with chilli jam and roasted macadamias – a crowd-pleaser. Cheap, lovely and perfect with a chilled Singha, what’s not to like?
