Babble on Babylon

Nobody likes being called a jerk, but you will make friends by throwing the word around at this Jamaican cafe - a highlight of the highway-esque strip. Babble's jerk chicken salad is a study in subtle Caribbean flavours, made by rubbing house-made spices on thigh fillets, crisp charring them on the open grill and serving with lettuce, capsicum, orange segments, fresh coriander and kidney beans. Sweet potato fritters come with moreish harissa mayo. Breakfast continues the theme, with jerk pork rashers and spicy avocado cream in a grilled pide, topped with egg and tamarind.
