The interior of this popular barbecue house has a hazy, futuristic, Blade Runner vibe. But try not to get too philosophical and ‘I cook therefore I am’ about it. This is DIY all the way, with service that’s amiable but often difficult to pin down when you want something in particular, such as lettuce leaves for wrapping morsels of freshly sizzled meat. It may take some restraint to fairly divide the bargain-priced serve of seven fat steamed dumplings between two, but if things get heated, chill out with the surprisingly refreshing cold spicy noodles. Palate well and truly cleansed, you’ll be just about ready to go again.
